During a career dedicated to communications, Pat Stortz has worn many hats.

Over nearly four decades – almost all within AT&T – Pat wrote news stories and speeches, plans and pitches, garnering dozens of high-caliber media placements. Initially a journalist and technical writer, Pat joined AT&T in 1983. She spent the next two decades honing her skills becoming vice president, Public Relations, a job she held until 2012.

Since then, she has led the Employee Communications group at AT&T and its largest subsidiary, AT&T Communications, transforming the function from a small, talented but under-resourced team into an industry leader.
