You’ve worked hard to develop and seamlessly execute PR and Communications campaigns for your organization or clients. Get the recognition they deserve –  Enter to win a Bulldog PR Award!

37 award categories

We’ve revamped our awards programs. The PR Awards, launching in 2018, are now a combination of our Digital, Social Media and Media Relations with a number of categories for those in the Non-profit and CSR arena. We will award a gold, silver and bronze prize for each category, and we’ll choose a Grand Prize winner from anyone who has entered and won in more than three categories.

2018 PR Awards timing

  • January 2, 2018: Awards open for entry
  • January 22, 2018: Early bird pricing ends (save $100 off your first entry and $50 off additional entries*)
  • February 2018: Final entry deadline (noon EST)
  • April 2018: Winners announced

Pricing

Pay for your entry before January 22 and save with early bird pricing. And don’t worry, you still have until the final deadline to finish your entry. Each entry is $350. However, if you submit the same entry in multiple categories, each additional category is only $250.

After January 22, prices increase to $450 ($300 for each additional category using the same entry)

Final entry deadline will be announced later this year. Entries will be accepted up past the deadline but an additional $100 late fee will apply for each entry.

The following categories honor excellence in public relations. Share your best campaign(s) from the last year and include your objectives, strategy, creative, and most of all measurable results to be considered for a Bulldog PR Award!

Excellence in PR Measurement​[ Details ]

How did you measure the results of your efforts? Can you validate the results with direct links to business outcomes? How will you use these results to set smarter objectives for future strategies? This award recognises innovation or brilliant problem solving in measurement methods to prove the impact and outcomes of a communications campaign.

Best use of Influencers ​[ Details ]

How are you using a person or group that has the ability to influence the behaviour or opinions of others? How have these people helped share your story? Share the results.

Best Use of Video/Multimedia[ Details ]

This category honors the most creative and effective incorporation of video or multimedia content in a campaign.

Best Use of Research – Business/Consumer ​[ Details ]

This category recognizes the most creative and effective use of research data to develop a targeted campaign. We want to see the effective outcomes that are a direct result of your research.

Best Brand Launch​[ Details ]

Did you build a new brand or just revamp an existing one? Show us how you created a new look and feel, the strategies used to make your brand stand out from the masses and the results of your efforts. If you rebranded, show us some before and after examples and explain why you felt the change was necessary and the logic behind it.

Best Crisis Management​[ Details ]

What crisis did you or your client face this last year? Detail your plan to get the message out, how you were able to turn the crisis around to rebuild or strengthen your brand. Did you use social media and if so, how? Was one of the executives used as a spokesperson? Why did you choose this person and how did they perform under pressure? How did you confront a negative situation and make it a positive one?

Explain the strategy behind the launch and the response of your customer. How did your competitor or the media react to the launch? Tell us about your tactics and the strategy behind the exceptional results. We want to see how your annual report exhibits the best and most effective way to communicate your or your client’s, financial results and overall positioning. Our judges will look at the design, content, messages from the executive team and valuable presentation of company communications. We will require examples of the report or links to the latest edition.

Best Content Marketing Program [ Details ]

Are you using strategic marketing that focuses on creating valuable, relevant, and consistent content? Are you reaching and attracting a clearly defined audience? Are those individuals taking the intended action?

Best Viral Campaign ​[ Details ]

What have you done lately that people feel the need to share? Was it a funny video, a memorable short film or something else? Share the plan behind the campaign and the incredible results you achieved.

Best Media Relations Campaign ​[ Details ]

Did your latest campaign garner a lot of positive media attention? What tactics did you use to reach out to the press and how were you able to get them engaged? Share all the components of your campaign including media events. We also want to look at all that great coverage you received!

Best Campaign on a Shoestring Budget ​[ Details ]
