Linda Descano, CFA (Red Havas)
Linda Descano, CFA, serves as Executive Vice President for Red Havas, a global merged media agency micronetwork. In this role, Linda leads the agency’s corporate communications and executive visibility practice and its global thought leadership program. Since joining Red Havas in 2015, Linda has provided senior-level communications counsel on merged media strategy, corporate communications, and content marketing to clients across multiple industry sectors, including pharmaceuticals, consumer health, financial services, and technology. Previously, Linda spent 20+ years at Citi, serving in various senior-level positions including Director and Portfolio Manager at Citigroup Asset Management; president and CEO of Women & Co., an award-winning financial advisory program for women; and managing director and global head of content marketing and social media for Citi’s Global Consumer Bank. Linda serves as an adjunct professor for the Fox School of Business M.S. in Digital Innovation in Marketing program. She serves on the board of directors of New York Women in Communications (and is a past president) and on the advisory councils of Servo Annex, a digital consultancy, and HealthWorks Academies. Linda is a former board member of The Content Council, Girl Scouts of the U.S.A. and Step Up. Linda’s honors include PR News’ 2018 PR Professional of the Year, 2018 Campaign U.S. Digital 40 Over 40, and 2014 Fox Information Technology Distinguished Alumni Award from the Fox School of Business at Temple University, among others.
